D.C. & H2O

just returned from DC…went to bed at 1am last night and woke up at 5 to catch a flight…needless to say i could use a nap.

shot some video with todd phillips, the guy who’s leading the elbrus mountain climb. we started talking about training, and he suggested i find some hills to climb, then he remembered i live in dallas, where there are no hills. so he said to grab a backpack, load it with 40 or 50 pounds, and go find a stadium and walk up and down the bleachers for 4 hours. sounds like fun.

all this is to raise money for the last well movement, and living water international. to keep it short, over a billion people around the world suffer because they don’t have clean water. thousands die every day from preventable diseases. these organizations are going over there and digging wells to provide clean water. like everything else, this requires money.

if you want to help you can click here and pledge online. just pick one of the guys (except me) and pledge something. who knows, one of these guys may have to drag my butt up the mountain, so do it for me.

you can study up on the issue on the above links, but send ‘em a little dough. your money will get thirsty people water. who can argue with that?
