Best buds? I hope so.
I will admit that when I saw the second pink line that fateful day in December of ‘06, I freaked out was suprised. I looked at my one year old “baby” and thought, “I am not ready to have TWO babies.” A big thank you to Chad for being so grounded, optimistic and, well, great. Of course Carter was not a baby by the time Hudson was born but I freak out a little bit when...

One classy babe.
It is awfully fun to let your friend’s little girl dress your son in her fancy dress-up clothes.

Kids do weird things.
They do. Funny, gross, inappropriate, weird things. You know the drill. Show you their chewed up food, put a cigarette butt from the sidewalk into their mouths, wipe their noses on your leg. Sometimes while rediapering my youngest he grabs his… umm… private part and screams out its (correct) name while crying as if the diaper is a jail with a life sentence and he’ll never see it...

One step closer to moving out of the house.
Today is a special day. I am so excited. So very proud. Isn’t it great when your kids figure out how to do something for themselves?  When they put all of the pieces together, their bodies and minds work in unison and it all clicks. It’s a beautiful thing to watch. Today, Carter learned how to glide. I was pushing him on the swing set in our yard, which by the way could be a full time...

Berry-licious
I am and always have been a Rice Crispy Treat finatic. It takes all of my will power to stop eating them and even that doesn’t work sometimes. So when I saw the strawberry marshmallows on sale at Target I got the bright idea to make some treats for the kids complete with Valentine’s sprinkles and cut out with heart shaped cookie cutters. Does that make me eligible for “Mother of...

WatchWatch
This is why men are compelled to look at themselves in the mirror while flexing. We teach it to them from a young age. Disclaimer: I have not learned how to edit video uploads yet.

Grapvine Mills: Good for shopping, not for...
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Grapvine Mills mall. But, mall outings for us usually include riding the elevator, throwing things (I mean pennies) into the fountain, playing in the kids play area and smelling candles at the Yankee candle store (Carter’s obsession). All of which are lacking at the “Mills”. Additionally, it takes a three year old...

There's a new blogger in town
Chad has been slacking on his blog duty, and because the boys can not be trusted with electronic equipment, I have been appointed the new head blogger for chadandjana.com. My goal is to be more consistent, but I am not nearly as witty and creative as Chad, so he will be contributing as well. I am also lacking in the grammar and spelling department, but I don’t care, that was just to warn...
